OneTen The Studio® Font License Agreement

Last updated: Tuesday, July 22 2025

Thank you for purchasing a font from OneTen The Studio® (also referred to as "The Company"). By downloading or using our fonts (referred to as “Typeface” or “Font”), you agree to the terms outlined below. We’ve kept things clear and straightforward, but this is a legal agreement, so please read it fully.

DEFINITIONS

For the purposes of this End-User License Agreement:

  • Agreement means this End-User License Agreement that forms the entire agreement between You and the Company regarding the use of The Typeface.

  • The Typeface (also known as "Font" and "Font Software") means software or instructions which, when used on an appropriate device or devices, generates typeface and typographic designs and ornaments. The Typeface shall include all bitmap representations of typeface and typographic designs and ornaments created by or derived from The Typeface. The Typeface includes upgrades or updates (each of which may be provided to you by OneTen The Studio, LLC in its sole discretion), related files, permitted modifications, permitted copies, and related documentation.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By clicking the "I Agree" button, downloading, purchasing or using The Typeface, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement. If you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement, do not click on the "I Agree" button, do not download, and do not use The Typeface.

This Agreement is a legal document between you and the Company and it governs your use of The Typeface made available to you by the Company.

The Typeface is licensed, not sold, to you by the Company for use strictly in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.

1. Quick Summary

  • You are licensing the font — you do not own it.

  • Licenses are based on how you use the font and the size of your business.

  • No sharing of font files, no reselling.

  • Four main categories of licenses with tiers by company size.

  • Each person who uses the font must have a license. If multiple people at your company will use the Typeface, you must purchase multiple licenses to cover the total number of users. If you need a custom license, please email Kelsey at type@onetenthestudio.com.

We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the Typeface strictly according to this Agreement.

Specifically:

  • You may use the Typeface only within the license category and tier you purchased.

  • You may install the font on one personal and one work computer per licensed user.

  • If multiple people in your organization will use the Typeface, you must purchase the appropriate tier to cover all users.

  • You may import and adjust the bezier outlines (shapes) in drawing programs but cannot resell or redistribute modified versions.

  • You may use the Typeface in common design tools like Adobe, Affinity, Canva Pro, Sketch, and Figma within your license terms.

This license is revocable — if you break the terms, we can cancel it, and you must stop using the font.

4. Permitted Uses (What You Can Do)

  • Use for logos, branding, packaging, websites, apps, e-books, or templates within your license.

6. Ownership

The Typeface is owned by OneTen The Studio® and protected by copyright. You are licensing the right to use it, not buying ownership.

7. Termination

Breaking the terms cancels your license immediately. You must delete the font files if your license is terminated.

8. Refunds

Because fonts are digital goods, no refunds are offered after purchase.

9. Liability

We are not liable for damages caused by using our fonts. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license.

10. Legal Details

This agreement is governed by Pennsylvania state law. Disputes are settled via arbitration.
